What commercial machine am I renting?
All of Izzy’s rental machines are Taylor single serve soft serve ice cream machines. These are the same commercial machines that you will see at your favorite fast food restaurants. Additionally, all rental machines are serviced by the local Taylor distributor which helps keep all machines working at their best.
Each daily rental includes the Taylor commercial soft serve ice cream machine, food cart, 25 foot extension cord and instructions for easy startup and cleanup.
Will Izzy’s deliver to my party?
Izzy’s does not deliver. All rentals are picked up between 10am – 12pm on the day of rental and returned the following morning by 9am. All rental machines weigh 210 pounds. Two people are required when picking up and dropping off.
How big is the ice cream machine?
The soft serve machines are W17 5/8″ x D27.5″ x H30.5″
The cart is W24″ x D30″ x H24″
In addition to the machine and cart, Izzy’s provides a 25ft extension cord, bucket for clean up, and easy to read and follow instructions.
Most mid-sized SUVs have the adequate space to hold a machine and the cart. The machine will not fit in the trunk or backseat of a sedan or car. Please ask if you’re concerned about your vehicle size.
Can I buy ice cream mix from Izzy’s?
Yes! Izzy’s can provide vanilla, chocolate and Dole Whip flavors (pineapple & raspberry). If desired you can purchase your own mixes to use with the machine. See the Pricing page for more information on ice cream mixes.
What type of power source is needed?
Each Taylor commercial ice cream machine requires an 20 AMP circuit breaker on a 110 outlet with nothing else running on the same circuit.
If your party is outside the machine needs to stay in the shade or it may delay the time for your ice cream to freeze and could possibly cause it to not work at all. Only use the 25 foot extension cord provided with the rental. Do not add additional extension cords as it can decrease power and cause the ice cream to not freeze.
How long does it take for my ice cream to be ready to serve?
Once the machine is setup, ice cream will be ready in about 10 minutes. After the initial 10 minute wait time, there is no additional wait time when adding more mix.
How do I clean up after the party?
Izzy provides cleanup instructions with all rentals. Cleanup is so easy and takes about 15 minutes. Just follow the easy to read instruction sheet provided.
Can I have two ice cream flavors?
Our commercial Taylor machines only have one soft serve spout, which means they only serve one flavor at a time. If you would like two flavors at your celebration please reserve two machines.
How do I reserve / cancel a rental?
To reserve an ice cream rental date complete the Contact Me form including your desired rental date and Izzy’s will respond with availability.
There is a $60 reservation deposit that is required for all rentals. You must cancel at least 14 days in advance of your reservation in order for your deposit to be refunded.
